We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable candidate for the role of Coordinator and Events Manager for the Engineering Biology Interdisciplinary Research Centre (EngBio IRC, formerly SynBio IRC). This is a fixed term maternity cover role for 12 months or until the return of the postholder, which ever is sooner. The purpose of this role is to organise, manage and deliver activities for the IRC. Working closely with the IRC co-Chairs, members of the Steering Group and others, the post-holder will assist in developing a strategic vision for the IRC initiative, and in planning and delivering implementation of this vision. Developing and managing relationships with stakeholders within and outside the University is an important aspect of the role, combined with actively communicating and promoting IRC activities.
