Two new Farming Innovation Competitions are opening for applications on 31 August 2022 : Feasibility Projects and Small R&D Partnership Projects - Round 2. They are for farmers, growers, foresters, businesses and research organisations who want to help increase productivity and environmental sustainability in the agricultural and horticultural sectors in England through collaborative research and development.

  • Funding: £200k – £500k
  • Duration: 2 years
  • Location: UK-wide

To test the feasibility early stage solutions that have the potential to improve the overall productivity, sustainability and resilience of farming, and move the agricultural sectors to net zero.

Small R&D Partnership Projects - Round 2

  • Deadline: 2nd November
  • Funding: £1-3 million
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Location: UK-wide
