Biography
I am a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the the Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology at University of Cambridge.
The overarching aim of my research is to carry out computational investigations of cardiovascular flow and to improve our understanding of cardiac disease and its response to treatment. I am to improve clinical outcomes by employing bioengineering principles using computational tools.
Research
My primary interests are in Fluid Mechanics, Structural Analyses, Cardiovascular Mechanics, and Computational Modelling. My research is currently focussed on modelling flow through the aortic valve and the influence of transcatheter aortic vale implantation (TAVI) on localised haemodynamics and biomechanics of the vasculature carried out in silico.
