Milner Therapeutics Consortium Call is now open (apply by 13 March)

The Milner Therapeutics Consortium is excited to launch its sixth call for research proposals! The deadline for applications is 13^th March 2026. 

Our ten pharma partners in the Milner Therapeutics Consortium have identified a set of new challenges that are a current priority for external collaboration with academics. These include several topics that are of interest to a wide group of companies. 

Are you an academic at the University of Cambridge, Babraham and Wellcome Sanger Institutes? Do you have an idea for a potential pre-clinical collaborative project that would benefit from industry expertise and know-how? We are looking for project proposals that could provide solutions to current challenges in the following areas, and applications from cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged:

Neuroscience – Oncology – Immunology & Inflammation – Metabolic and Cardiovascular disease – Infectious Disease – Dermatology – New technologies

Projects could provide a better understanding of a disease mechanism, discover and validate new therapeutic targets or apply novel technologies. These pre-clinical projects range from reagent sharing to funded pilot or longer-term collaborations (2-3 years) and are expected to lead to joint publications with the company partners.
