Gabriele Cannucciari

PhD Student in Department of Chemistry Co-President of the Synthetic Biology Society.Biography

Gabriele was born in Italy and studied Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham. He completed his placement year at the Francis Crick Institute in London, working in the Santos Lab on mitosis. Gabriele is currently a second-year PhD student in the Willis Lab (Department of Chemistry), where he is developing novel tools for gene editing.

Research interests

Gene editing, protein engineering, synthetic biology, directed evolution.
