We are back on Monday 6th February 6-8pm with ‘Revolutionize your protein workflows with eProtein – reliable protein in-hand in 2 days’ with Dr Chiara Gandini, Nuclera.

It will be fantastic to see the members of our community coming together again with free food available! We look forward to seeing you at the Panton Arms, Cambridge.
Place are limited.

Revolutionize your protein workflows with eProtein – reliable protein in-hand in 2 days.
Proteins are the cornerstone and starting point of biological research and drug discovery projects. However, obtaining the proteins of interest takes up to 6 months and many trials and failures. What if there was an easier way?
Nuclera has developed the eProtein system which enables you to get reliable protein in hand in less than 2 days. eProtein automates construct screening for the best soluble expression and purification yields of different proteins in under 24 hours, enabling the following day a reliable protein scale-up (up to the mg scale). Nuclera’s technology integrates cell-free protein synthesis and digital microfluidics on smart cartridges to allow rapid progress on protein projects through a benchtop, automated, high-throughput protein prototyping system.

Come learn about eProtein, the benchtop protein prototyping system that accelerates construct design, expression, characterization and production of target proteins to power your research!

Speaker: Chiara Gandini, Dr Chiara is a synthetic biologist and protein scientist by training. Before joining the Nuclera adventure, she spent time understanding photosynthesis in cyanobacteria, creating sustainable feedstocks for the aquaculture industry and setting up molecular biology and protein production labs in low resources settings in Ghana and Cameroon as Science Director at Beneficial Bio.
