The SynBio SRI has funded several projects working on open hardware for research and education. We are very interested in finding out more about the impact of openness on knowledge transfer and colleagues at CERN have recently announced a survey gathering data on just this point.
Please respond if you feel able and forward the information to others you know have experience of working with open hardware.
