Following the success of their events at this year’s festivals, OUT THINKERS is back for 2019 Cambridge Science Festival. This event will celebrate Cambridge’s LGBT+ scientists, engineers and mathematicians. The organisers are looking for researchers to take part – anyone from PhD students to postdocs to lab and group leaders.
The event will be from 7pm on Thursday 14 March (Pi Day for the eagle-eyed!) at the Cambridge University Wine Bar. It’s a fun, informal event where researchers talk for about 15 min about their research and their experiences of being LGBT+ in STEM.
Please email craig.brierley@admin.cam.ac.uk if you are interested in getting involved. Or if you know someone you think will be perfect for this, do spread the word!
