Biography
Professor of Plant Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I have worked in carbohydrate active enzyme discovery, complex glycan analysis, and plant cell wall biosynthesis and structure for two decades.
Research
Starting in Openplant, we have begun to use the diversity of plants as a resource for glycosyltransferase prospecting, with a view to engineering new polysaccharides structures, with application in materials and dietary fibre.
